Welcome!

We are excited about the possibility of having you join AJC College!

We are looking for applicants who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and have established an authentic walk with Him, demonstrating a fruitful Christian life in line with New Testament principles and values. So we will ask you about your story and relationship with God.

Since we seek to equip people for their Christian calling and vocation, we seek applicants who have begun exploring God’s call on them, and can articulate some vision for what they think God is calling them to be, go and do. We expect this to be refined as you grow, but it is helpful to identify a starting point for this exploration. Although we won’t ask you to map out the next four years, we would like to know what ideas you have about the future at this point in your journey. So be prepared to talk about your plans and dreams, including where you could see yourself ending up in your stream and apprenticeship. If you have gifts in the creative arts, we would love to see some of your work, so you’ll need to put some thought into this. Lastly, you will need to upload an essay that tells your story. This is a substantial part of your application, and you will need to complete this before you fill out the application form.

All of this means that you should look through the questions before you sit down to fill out the form, and give yourself time to think and pray about your answers. We have provided a summary of the questions that we think you’ll want a heads up about here.

We will ask you for three people we can contact for a reference: a church leader, a boss/co-worker, and a close friend. We will need contact details for these people, especially their email. You should speak to them before filling out the form to ask them if they are happy to provide a reference for you. It will help them give an informative reference if you also talk to them about the program and why you are applying.

Once we have received your application, we will review it and let you know whether we will take the application forward to an interview or not within 30 days. The interview gives us chance to get to know you, for us to talk about whether the program is a good fit, and for you to ask any questions you have. After the interview, we take some time to pray, and aim to give you a response within another 30 days. If you are concerned about being available for interview, or any other conflicts between this timeline and your commitments, please email us to talk about it. Application fees are non-refundable, but if you are accepted, your application fee is put towards your first tuition installment.

Applications for the 2019-2020 school year are now open!
